SIAD Bombola d'oro Regatta

 From 20th to 22nd May, in the splendid setting of the Gulf of Tigullio, between Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino, returns the "SIAD Bombola d'Oro Trophy", a sailing regatta reserved for the Dinghy 12' category, now in its 25th edition.

Designed in 1913, this particular boat, normally made of wood, has succeeded in its history in keeping intact the charm of sailing, protecting tradition from the assault of the most exasperated technique.

The "Bombolino", as defined by its contenders, was born from a group of enthusiasts in Portofino and has now become an important event in the sailing calendar with numerous participants from all over Italy.

The SIAD Bombola d'Oro Trophy is organized by the Yacht Club Italiano, in collaboration with the Circolo Velico of Santa Margherita Ligure, the Circolo Nautico of Rapallo by delegation of FIV and with the patronage of the Municipalities of Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure and Rapallo.
